Suped-up bra April 21, 2008
Lovely readers, I know it is a little too soon to be sharing my most intimate undergarments with you. But i’ll risk your scorn on the off chance i give someone, somewhere, some sound advice.
If you’ve ample “bazooms” and adorn them with pretty brassieres (befitting your obvious good taste) which are not up to the task then the contraption shown above may help.
It can give extra comfort and support much like a complicated system of pullies and levers. Yet it is not much bigger than a TimeZone game token.
These can be purchased at very little cost from department stores and fabric stores and elsewhere.
Ooooh, this looks like a jolly good idea. However. how the hell do you get it on?
It’s easy to afix to your straps, and you can adjust it up or down the straps to perfect your fit. zoom into my photo and you may see how i threaded it. else the packaging should come with instructions. but it’s pretty easy. trust me.
But do you put it on before you put on the bra and then wriggle into the straps?
oh yeah, you fix it on first, then pop your head and arms through the straps and then do up the hook and eyes once you’re all in place.
It’s a little awkward, but if you go head first, then arms, then bazooms, then fasten the hooks and eyes it’s not too bad.
Start by putting the clip thing near the middle of your straps (i.e half way between your neck and the hook and eyes.) up too high and you’ll never fit your head through.
These things are genius - I use them on sports bras too.
The other thing I find useful is getting your bra straps shortened … so many bras just don’t have enough room for adjustment, hoisting etc …
