When I was a young teen (they didn’t have tweens in those days) I had this great pen-like liquid eyeliner with a fine tip. But it ran out pretty fast, and not wanting to spend my hard-earned paper-run money on expensive cosmetics, I made do with mascara. Alls I did was dip the tip of my old brush into the globby stuff at the end of my mascara wand, and voila! instant liquid eyeliner – the exact same colour as my mascara even.
I forgot that I used to do this until recently. And I tried it out again to see if I still had the knack.
I used the finest brush I have (from the art shop) and applied through the base of my upper lashes (like this). Was pretty easy and super cheap.
Amy where/how do you get your eyebrows so prefect like that??
Oh you’re making me blush. I actually do them myself, but when i was eighteen i went to a real professional on High St in Auckland to get them done the first time and they did a great job and so i’ve just maintained them ever since.
I do pencil them too. maybe i should do a post about brows…
