It’s the vibe of the thing?

Just quickly, why is it that all beauty products nowadays have to vibrate? I mean, first there were electric toothbrushes, which seem like an okay idea, but now there’s there’s razors (which are “good but gimmicky”), there’s face cleaners, and now there’s oscillating mascara (which underwhelmed Miss Deuxmont - can we get a full review  please?). Why oh why must everything shake, rattle and roll? I mean, I like the fact that I’m pretty sure Neutrogena will be giving some teenage girls their first orgasm (and I mean that in a empowerment way, not a creepy porny way), but don’t most of us have hands? And aren’t most of us perfectly capable of shaving our legs, washing our faces and curling our lashes without needing robots to do it? Don’t blame me if the new lipstick applicators become self-aware and destroy all of our society, okay?

Do you use vibrating beauty products? Please tell us about them for us in the comment section.

Lol. All I have is the vibrating toothbrush, and that actually makes sense!! I mean it’s for cleaning out hard to reach bits of food… but why does anyone need a razor that vibrates? Or mascara? I’m horrified by the thought of vibrating mascara. I’m pretty sure I’d end up blind if I tried using the stuff.

Hi have the electric toothbrush, but only becuase my dentist said it would help, and it does, less fillings.
but personally i could not imagine using something with batteries near my eyes, i am terrible enough at applying mascara, no need to make it worse

I’ve used vibrating razors before and have found that if you hold the razor super close to your skin you get a really good shave (without any razor burn or anything). But if you don’t hold it close enough, or go too fast, it seems to just hiphopapotamus everywhere and give you a bad shave. I’m talkin legs here…I can imagine all sorts of accidents happening in other areas!
