Has anybody seen my exfoliating glove?

exfoliating glove

You’re all probably well aware of the benefits of exfoliating. And these little exfoliating gloves are real handy for exfoliating in the shower. I get pretty itchy legs in the days following shaving my legs, but not when I use the gloves to exfoliate. I’m guessing it’s because the exfoliation stops in-growing hairs.

These gloves are also really good for removing dead skin from feet and cleaning the cuticles around toe nails.

I got my pair of exfoliating gloves from a pharmacy, and they are pretty common in department stores and The Body Shop.

Who needs gloves? You’re not Michael Jackson! Just get your sugar scrub on! The oils will help your razor glide everywhere!

Well, in theory anyway. I still have rash and cuts but I suspect that has something to do with my miserliness in changing blades.

But actually, I was reading something the other day (was it this site?) about how many of the cheaper scrubs with “exfoliating beads” are actually just little bubbles of plastic, so really, gloves or a really natural scrub are a much more environmentally sound option.
