What’s pretty in Auckland these days?

A while ago I took a trip to Auckland, and thanks to some great tips from you awesome readers I visited some wonderfuly pretty stores. Like Glamourpuss, MAC Pro Store and Kosmakit.

Well, I’m heading up to Auckland again this week. A quick trip this time for the Pearl Jam concert. I can’t wait. But if it doesn’t work out between me and Eddie Vedder, I may have a little time up my sleeve to check out cool stuff in the big city.

I was thinking of visiting the new Department Store because it’s got a Napoleon Perdis concept store. Is it worth it? Any other ideas?

The $3 Japan store, next to Borders on Queen Street – the makeup aisle has all sorts of rubbish but the occasional gem turns up! Well worth a browse for cheap treats. And not just the makeup aisle either, I love their stationery section and the bento boxes are adorable.

Oh yeah, I love that shop. I totally forgot about it the last few times I’ve been to Auck. I need some Hello Kitty blotting paper, I’m sure that place will have some. Great idea!

Why yes, Lisa. Yes we did. Do you remember when he used to use nail polish. I should do a post about it. I wonder what brand he used.
