Not sure if it’s available in NZ, but Trevor Sorbie Curl Cream is the best hair product I have ever found for long curly hair. It’s relatively cheap (about £5 in the UK). Seems to control the frizz without constraining the curl, and leaves absolutely no residue or hard bits – in fact, it’s like not having any hair product in at all.
