Nice one! It's funny how cats and witches are foiled by harmless water, mwahaha. And candy floss for that matter.

Just to let you know I've been keeping on keeping on with applying the bio oil but only just got around to taking another shot. Hope to have an update post to Amy and Jo in the next couple of days :-)

Also, had the pleasure of water pistolling the feral cat just two nights ago!

Ugh, feral cat story = hideous!!! Keep a very strong water pistol loaded by your back door - even feral cats hate water.

Hi Lou, the scars are about 2 months old, you can read the story of how I got them here:

The Bio Oil website reckons that the younger the scars the better results you get.

I had terrible eczema (on my face, yay) about five years ago. After I took all the awful drugs and rubbed steroid creams into my face, I was super-glad to get adult onset acne (luckily not too badly). My dermatologist suggested I use Bio Oil to treat my wee bit of scarring and it was pretty good. It is really rich though and I can definitely imagine that it would cause break outs on certain skin types...

Hi Julie -

Thanks for doing this, I've often wondered but as I have quite a lot of scarring I'd much rather wait to see if it actually works before bothering with the drama and hassle it would require to do it myself! :) Might I ask how old your scars are?

Thanks
Lou
