The very first show of the new series, broadcast on Saturday, featured a kissogram, a naked Physician along with a “sexed up” Tardis.During the special 65-minute episode, The Eleventh Hour, in which Physician Who had 20 minutes to save Earth from aliens known as the Atraxi, his new companion, Amy Pond, was revealed as a kissogram dressed in a skimpy policeman’s outfit, complete with mini-skirt and handcuffs. In one scene, Amy, played by the actress Karen Gillan, told the Dr that her kissogram repertoire also included nuns and nurses’ outfits. Discover out extra at Sci Fi Fan.

My picks from the new Doctor Who:

The Unquiet Dead – Dickensian Cardiff, Victorian attire and the undead.

The Idiot’s Lantern – 1953 London. Rose has an awesome pink full skirt.

The Shakespeare Code – Shakespearean London.

Daleks in Manhattan – 1930s New York, featuring Tallulah the showgirl and her angelic costume. (Jo, I reckon you could do this – tiara, blonde wig, angels wings, fab!)

Voyage of the Damned – Kylie Minogue as a spunky cigarette girl on the Titantic.

The Unicorn and the Wasp – Agatha Christie, 1920s finery.

The Fires of Pompeii – Ancient Rome, tunics, braids, vestal virgins.

The official BBC Doctor Who website has heaps of images from each episode, so there’s plenty of inspiration.

Or you could take inspiration from the Doctor’s new companion and go dressed as an English policewoman with no pants.
