Because this is a big heavy box worth of goodness, the competition is only open to Wellington residents, sorry.
Wow, we had an awful lot of entries for our Aromatherapy Synergy competition. Was it the Jem-related name? We hope that those people who came here direct from a competition website took the time to stop and read more of the site too.
Thanks to some help from Randomizer.org, I’m pleased to announce the winners are:
- Pick Me Up – Hilaire
- In Love Again – Tania
- Memories – Jo C
- Absolute Dreams – Emma (McCleary)
Let me make up for radio silence on my part by offering up a chance to win some lovely prizes, thanks to the always-generous Linden Leaves. We’ve got gift sets of the Aromatherapy Synergy range up for grabs:

We have six, count ‘em, SIX full-size scrubs to give away, so you and your shower will be smelling divine pretty soon. In order to win, all you gotta do is leave us a comment telling us what’s rough in your life right now that you would like to metaphorically scrub away. Entries close on Friday 18, and we’ll draw six winners at random. Get to it!
(And if you’re not lucky enough to win, you can of course buy some for yourself at Farmer’s or online at Gracie Lou. )
Me and Jo are feeling like regular Santa Clauses right now, with so many prizes being given away to you all. We truly love to though and are grateful to the lovely people who donate prizes and to the lovely people who read our site.
So huge thanks to Sue from Supervery for giving you the chance to win one of her amazing necklaces, and huge thanks to all those that entered the competition.
And the winner, chosen from random.org, is ….
Isabel, we’ll email you shortly for your address details. Congratulations. We are all so jealous of you, and you have a pretty name too.
We loved all your fantastic outfits that you created inspired by seaweed, but of course, there can only be one winner. Or rather, in this case, four. Here’s Meg‘s verdict (and wow, we’re really glad that we didn’t have to choose!):
All the girls ranked their top three and then I assigned them points. The winner was Megan, and the three runners-up ere the first Katie (with the clam purse), Sue, and Nenuphars. We really liked the seaweedy hairstyle in Katie’s entry but the dress Megan picked was just perfect. I thought it was cute that Nenuphar’s included a bike – Jane has one not dissimilar – but hers is pink. We also liked that Sue and Nenupahrs include sensible but glamorous hats for the Marlborough summer.
Thank you all so much for your beautiful entries, and especial thanks to the very quaffable Durvillea Wines for supplying us with such lovely prizes to give away. We’re raising a glass in your direction, and will be making a special trip out to Thorndon New World so we can stock up and drink you all summer long!
