Dud trades: Microfibre facecloth July 27, 2008

Filed under: Amy, trade — Amy @ 8:56 pm

I bought this “hydrating cleansing cloth” from the Kirk’s sale for like $3. Total rip-off. Though I kinda knew it would be.

It doesn’t feel as exfoliating as the usual toweling facecloth, and the only thing hydrating about it is the water you moisten it with - which counts… i guess…

But if anyone else would like to try it, I’d be happy to send it to you. Just send me an email amy(at)prettyprettypretty(dot)com

Don’t forget that your homework for this weekend is to clear out your wardrobes of any clothes, accessories, beauty products and magazines that you no longer want, so that you can bring them to our Pretty Pretty Pretty Party next Saturday to trade for fun new-to-you things! And also, please RSVP on our Facebook page - we’re making goodie bags (oooh exciting!) and we need to know how many to make…

Dud Trades: Hair Moisturiser May 10, 2008

Filed under: Amy, hair, trade — Amy @ 11:29 am

Following on from our last dud trade (which is still up for grabs), I have this fairly full bottle of Hair Moisturiser from Jam Hairdressing in Wellington. It’s a good product, just my hair is too oily now-a-days for it.

Jam Moisturizer (Joes) - for dry hair, seriously shagged or critically dry hair. Jams Moisturizer is especially designed for maintaining the moisture within the hair shaft. Jam Moisturizer prevents the hair from being dull and unmanageable and helps to prevent fading and split ends in coloured hair. (Retail $22)

If you want it, it’s yours!!

Dud Trades: One woman’s FAIL = another woman’s FTW May 1, 2008

Vo5So, we’re all different people, right? And we all have different hair, different skin, different tastes and so on and so forth. Therefore, a product I might like is something you might hate, and a product I hate might be something that you’d love. With that in mind, I’d like to start up a Dud Trades series off PrettyPrettyPretty. First up, I have an almost full bottle of Vo5 shampoo ‘fade defy’ and its matching conditioner.

formulated to strengthen protect and promote a radiant shine promoting your hairs vitality. contains vitamins a, e and provitamin b5 which are released as your hair dreis when you need it most.

$4.89 each, thanks Woolworths online!
I don’t like them because they make my hair dull and limp, but other reviews on the internet offer it some praise, so perhaps it’s right for you. So would you like my shampoo and conditioner? You can have them for free if you pick them up from me, or I’ll send them to you if you send me some dud product you have.
