Welcome mini-Pretty!

March 4th, 2009

Our dear Kebabette has a brand new little bub. Let us introduce you to the beautiful Sabrina…Congratulations Kebabette!

Sabrina is such a pretty name too. Audrey Hepburn, everyone’s favourite gamine, played the title role in the 1954 movie, Sabrina.

Here’s a fantastic quote from the movie, which just proves that Sabrina is a kick-ass name.

Linus Larrabee: So, that really is a beautiful name. How did you get it?
Sabrina: My father’s reading. It’s in a poem.
Linus Larrabee: Oh?
Sabrina: “Sabrina fair, listen where thou art sitting under the glassy, cool, translucent wave, in twisted braids of lilies knitting the loose train of thy amber-dropping hair.”

Linus Larrabee: [pause] So, your little poem – what does it mean?
Sabrina: It’s the story of a water sprite who saved a virgin from a fate worse than death.
Linus Larrabee: And Sabrina’s the virgin.

Sabrina
: [quietly] Sabrina’s the savior.

Speaking of babies, Martha, who had her own little Lucy in January, has the cutest tees for tots in her shop. I’m not clucky, honestly, I just love miniature anythings including mini-human beings.
