Estee Lauder Create Your Own Gift

Estee Lauder has a great gift with purchase right now up until 13th Sept 09. It’s available at Kirk’s in Wellington and Smith & Caughey’s in Auckland, and probably elsewhere.

The great thing is you can choose yourself from the items. I mean you get each of the products pictured, but you have a choice for each.   So their are two lipstick shades to choose from, two different eye shadow palettes, two fragrances, three eye creams to choose from, and four moisturises, and so on.  Thus you can tailor it to suit you perfectly.

It’s a pretty generous gift too, with seven products to take home plus the bag. Nice.

As an aside, if you happen to be from Kirk’s please know I hate your website. It’s never updated with beauty news and I can never find what I want to know. As much as I’d like to link to your site, it never has the info I need.

Clinique bonus time

I really do like Clinique, but I never ever buy it without a gift. Their gifts with purchase are the best around. And at the mo Smith & Caughey’s, Kirkcaldie & Stains, and I think Ballantynes (though I can’t quite remember if this is true) all have this great gift with purchase.

I can recommend the All About Eyes, High Impact mascara, and I love Happy. Blush sticks are great for contouring, and who can’t use another lip gloss?

There’s a whole lot of consumer opportunities out there at the mo. First, the Estee Lauder Gift Me gift with purchase. The gift includes a nice handbag and a bunch of great treats.

Then there’s the mad $5 (US) teeshirts at threadless. With the kiwi dollar still that’s an amzing deal. Shipping costs a bit shared across a number of tees or people it’s peanuts. I’ve bought a bunch of tees fromthreadless in the past and they never disappoint. Hurry because the sale ends o the 8th June.

And of course Aussie brands Cue and Veronica Maine and Witchery each have huge sales at the mo. Each have a good number 50% off racks.

And luxury brand l’occitane have a big sale. You can purchase online or instore.

Saben Bag from Rodney Wayne

I saw these bags up close today, and they do look lovely. The products cost about $90, 10% of which goes to Breast Cancer Research.

I can’t find a picture of the gift anywhere online, but it is available from Kirk’s in Wellington from today to 3rd May.

Here’s what you get if you buy two EL products:

  • two make-up bags

  • Some sort of serum
