MAC’s US website has this brush finder tool that lets you browse through all their brushes to find what’s right for you. Personally I’m a bit intimidated by the huge MAC range of brushes. But this tool lets me figure out where to start.

June 24th, 2009Here, the Queen of Blending makes beautifully lined eyes with a white eyeliner that she makes herself. She uses a MAC liquid medium, but I’ve made my own liquid colour using a Napolean Perdis primer. So you could experiment with also sorts of mediums and colours.

March 1st, 2009MAC has teamed up with Hello Kitty – a much better pairing than the Dame Edna collection they put out a little while ago. It was supposed to be in stores February, so who knows when it’ll actually get to NZ stores. In the mean time, check out the ad.
I’m not sure about whether the Hello Kitty collection is for me. I mean, I’m a girly-girl, but that doesn’t mean I’m an actual girl. So I sometimes grimace at juvenile marketing aimed at women. Sometimes. I’ll definitely reserve judgement till I see it in stores. Also, here are some cute cute kitties.

MAC’s Lash & Dash lashes look superb with some super newbies added to the collection. Apparently, you can get your MAC lashes fitted at a MAC counter free anytime you need to, so they’re a great investment even if you have trouble applying them yourself.
