Gracie Lou – delivery free for you!
We received an email today from our reader Lizzie to say
Just wanted to let you guys know that a Wellington makeup/frangrance website has free delivery until end of June!. They have such fantastic prices on there and all the top brands! Cheaper than strawberrynet!
So of course I headed along to www.gracielou.co.nz to have a looksee. My credit card is very very angry with me right now for the dress I bought the other day, not to mention looming unemployment, but otherwise, I would probably be doing some shopping there right now. The Pop Beauty eye compacts are pretty, the idea of Smashbox 24 carat gold mascara really intrigues me, and there are some brands on the site I haven’t heard of before. So if you’re into that sort of thing, go nuts! And don’t forget to let us know how it goes.

Agent in the field report: make up sale in Manners Mall
Shannon sent us a twitter last night telling us about a huge makeup sale in Manners Mall, and today she sent us in these field reports:
- shannonq@prettyx3 Multiple tweets to follow! Definitely worth a look in – main makeup brands they have are Maybelline, Revlon, CoverGirl, Loreal.
- shannonq@prettyx3 Huge selection of lip stuff (mostly <$10). Foundations are mostly darker colours. Not much skincare.
- shannonq@prettyx3 Large range of perfumes but didn’t look terribly hard at that (too many people spraying liberally).
- shannonq@prettyx3 Three lip glosses, a L’Oreal foundation (of which they only had six – score!), eyeliner + mascara for $63! Score!
Edit: shannonq@prettyx3 Oh yeah, the sale’s til Sat – open 9am-7pm Tues-Fri, and then 1pm-6pm Saturday. Sounds like they’re getting even more stock, too.
So if you’re in the area, sounds like a good thing to check out. Thanks for the reports, Shannon!
Evolve with Wanda!
Hey, remember our Pretty Pretty Martha from Wanda Harland? She’s got a great deal going on.
The lovely folks at Evolu have arranged for us to do some 2 for 1 deals on their gorgeous Invigorating Body Lotion and Invigorating Hand and Cuticle Cream.
They don’t mention it, but the first time I tried Evolu was stealing the products that my dad got from flying Air NZ Business Class, so you know, if you wanna smell like you’ve just joined the Mile High Club, or just, you know, want to feel good, then get your ass out to Petone. There’s lots of fun stores out there, and the French Toast at Go Bang is amazing. Woo!
MFP Sale
Madame Fancy Pants on Cuba Street is having a sale until February 8. Here, we’ll let their image do the talking for us:

Winners and boobies courtesy of Torrid
Remember how Torrid had gold Obama necklaces, and silver McCain ones? They were totally right. But if you need to stock up on a Halloween costume. how about this Palin Posse tshirt? It’s 75% off! Or maybe you need some Boob Lube by Save The Ta-Tas to go with your Man Junk? Apparently it’s for breast examinations, and 20% of profits go to Breast Cancer Research, but mostly I just love the name.
Oh yeah, and clearence is currently 50% at Torrid, but with the NZ$ at .59 of the US$, I’d be very very careful if I were you.
Oh and also, if you’re a New Zealander, please vote tomorrow. And please vote for a party that you think will do good things for women. The Hand Mirror has done an excellent job of asking candidates questions about issues that concern women, and they make for some important reading before you make your decision.
